Regional Equipment Manager

While the entire gym team plays a role in customer service it is our Equipment Maintenance Team that ensures every workout experience is "uninterrupted" for our members by providing the best environment, availability of amenities, a high standard of cleanliness and full functioning equipment. Our entire Equipment Maintenance Team cannot be afraid to roll up their sleeves and help make our gyms the member's "FAVORITE." Departments: Facilities/Equipment Essential Purpose: Support the overall success of the gyms in their designated Region in their entirety including the safety, sanitation and efficiency of the gyms, financial success, employee experience and member satisfaction. Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to: * Personnel Management and Leadership – Hire, teach, mentor and lead District Equipment Technicians in-person and remotely. * Communicate with Executive Leadership, Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Managers and Gym Operations personnel appropriately. * Outside Vendor Management -- Identify, evaluate, establish, and maintain relationships with "key" outside vendors who will service our equipment. * Communicate and coordinate with any external vendors that will complete repairs, parts or equipment.

• Provide support for projects as needed.
• Expert in all functions of equipment and amenities.
• Ensures management, completion and closure of all OpenWrench tickets for

region.

• Manages maintaining a clean and organized inventory for region.
• Completes required manufacturer certifications when available (may require

out-of-state travel) * Ensures proper inventory and extra parts to ensure quick resolution and repairs. * Completes required equipment checklist and inspection upon all visits to gyms. * Mentors and leads District Equipment Technicians on managing local equipment service vendors. * Partners with RVPOs to ensure gym staff are trained on entering tickets properly. * Partners with RVP/RFMs to ensure all equipment in the region is up to organization standards. * Supports technicians with parts inventory and ordering and creates creative solutions to avoid down time. * Oversee and manage maintenance of company vehicle, maintaining a clean and organized inventory. * Address concerns on social media platforms as they relate to facilities maintenance (IE-yelp reviews, member comments/inquires). Qualification Requirements: This individual must possess and apply the following knowledge, skills, and abilities, and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable, or by using some other combination of abilities:

• Minimum of 3 years of equipment management experience.
• Minimum of 1 years of Leadership/Management experience.
• 1-2 years of vendor management experience.
• Minimum of 1 -2 years of multi-unit management, the Regional Maintenance

Manager may oversee up to 25 locations depending on the market. * Technical skills include general experience in the repair and maintenance of equipment and physical building.

• General knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical equipment.
• Understanding and commitment to all aspects of customer service.
• High standards regarding equipment function, cleanliness and presentation.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, for interacting

with employees, management, and vendors, i.e., calm, professional, positive, and empathetic to all levels of management, employees, customers, and vendors. * Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and in all functions. * Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; and good time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills.

• Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel.

Technical Knowledge Requirements:

• Project coordination and scheduling
• Vendor evaluation abilities -- (evaluate bids, estimates and invoicing)
• Diligence and a strong understanding of liability issues, general safety, and

personal and/or public injury a must.

• Financial -- Ability to interpret budgets and to provide recommendations.
• Administration -- Understanding the function of the accounting/payroll

departments and people management. * Ability to exercise sound judgment when identifying and assessing equipment maintenance needs. * Technology: computer literacy, extensive experience with CMMS systems and resource management * Utilize software, financial software, and project management software. Experience / Certifications / Educational / Requirements:

• OSHA Certified/Trained.
• Bilingual - Spanish preferred.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator

(AED) certification required.

• Must be able to pass background check.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must maintain local, State or Federal personal vehicle insurance minimums,

whichever is greater.

• Must maintain a clean motor vehicle record throughout employment.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from multiple job locations.

Physical Requirements: * Ability to work in gym office; move about gym floors and rooms; review, revise, create gym paperwork; communicate with employees, members, and the public. * Ability to access and operate Company computer system including prepare documents, enter data into computer system, read reports from a computer data base or email system.

• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 50 lbs.
• When necessary, must be available to be contacted for emergencies 24 hours/7

days a week including holidays and assist with being a first responder in the case of environmental disaster. * Must be available to assist is the closing down of a gym to meet all legal, safety, risk, and environmental regulations. * Ability to use commercial cleaning products and equipment including vacuums, pressure washers, wet vacuums, compressed air, and cleaning chemicals. Salary Pay Range

$75,000—$75,000 USD
