Manufacturing Systems Engineer

Salary: $73,000 - 113,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Proven experience in manufacturing, automation, or software development.
• A bachelors degree from a four-year college; a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Programming skills in Python, C#, Java, or similar languages are preferred.
• Experience with database systems, including SQL and data modeling, is preferred.
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and web technologies is preferred.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git is preferred.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile practices is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate with technical and non-technical users is preferred.
• A practical, hands-on approach and a focus on continuous improvement and adaptability are preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of injection mold building and injection molding is a plus.

• Support and maintain manufacturing and business systems, including ERP/JobBoss, reporting tools, and integrations.
• Work with production, engineering, and office teams to identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
• Develop and implement solutions that improve workflow efficiency, data accuracy, and system performance.
• Troubleshoot system issues affecting production, workflows, and reporting.
• Help automate and integrate manufacturing equipment, software, and data systems.
• Support data collection and reporting initiatives to improve operational visibility.
• Maintain system documentation, workflows, and user procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts involving processes, systems, and technology.
• Liaise among IT, engineering, and production teams.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies relevant to manufacturing and systems integration, as well as software technologies and development trends.
