Technical Lead - Enterprise Applications & ERP

Location: Edina (onsite)
Salary: $130-160K + bonus

Our client is hiring a Technical Lead to play a critical role in advancing enterprise technology initiatives, with a strong focus on NetSuite ERP and custom application development supporting manufacturing and business operations. This individual will operate at the intersection of hands-on development, solution architecture, and team leadership.

This is a highly visible role requiring someone who can guide technical direction, collaborate across business functions, and ensure successful delivery of complex system enhancements and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Ownership & Execution

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of technology initiatives, ensuring alignment to scope, timeline, and quality expectations
• Build and manage project plans, including milestones, resource allocation, and deliverables
• Track progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve blockers
• Measure performance using KPIs and continuously refine delivery processes

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Provide direction to internal developers and external partners across multiple initiatives
• Translate business and architectural requirements into actionable development plans
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in design and development
• Oversee technical decision-making, timelines, and issue resolution

Development & Systems Integration

• Design and build integrations between NetSuite ERP and other enterprise systems
• Develop and maintain custom applications using modern frameworks
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and system performance through testing and review standards

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with business leaders, product owners, and analysts to define and deliver technical solutions
• Serve as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
• Support strategic planning efforts to align technology with business priorities
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and implementation partners

Risk, Compliance & Quality

• Identify technical risks early and implement mitigation strategies
• Evaluate system changes and integration impacts
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data governance standards
• Recommend tools and frameworks to improve system reliability and maintainability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 15+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in enterprise architecture and integrations
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and driving scalable system design

Technical Expertise:

• NetSuite (SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteQL)
• SQL Server
• C# / .NET
• JavaScript frameworks (React, TypeScript)
• RESTful APIs and integration design

Preferred Background

• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or ERP implementations
• Prior experience in a Technical Lead or similar leadership role
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Experience working with third-party vendors or system integrators
• Familiarity with tools such as Workato or SPS Commerce
