Regional Dietician

Dietitian Job Duties Review all new residents on admission to ensureadequate nutrition is offeredto meet nutrition needs. Review current residents quarterly, annuallyand as needed. Review residents for significant weight loss/gain Assess and reviewresidents for wounds that are caused by pressure, calculate energy needsand makeappropriate recommendationsto support wound healing and wound prevention. Attend Clinically at-Risk meetings. Attend food committee meetings asneeded. Complete section K of the MDS Write NutritionPlan of Care and update as needed. Conduct roomvisits for observation of the resident and to obtainhabits relating to current nutrition practices. Meet with resident/family as needed to implement appropriatenutritioninterventions. Tour of Dietary Services as neededtoobservesanitary conditions. Dinning Room observations as neededtoidentifyancillary services thatmaybeneficialto the resident. Meal tray audits monthly and as neededto ensure foods are being servedat appropriatetemperatures, foods are palatableandforplate presentation. RD recommendations for MD approval. Communi catewith Nursing staff as needed for root cause analysis. #J-18808-Ljbffr
