Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids Schools Holy Spirit School - Grand Rapids, Michigan
Holy Spirit School is seeking a social worker beginning in the 2026-27 school year. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling. Requirements:
- An understanding of the Catholic Church doctrines and a willingness to work within its teachings.
- Limited License Master Social Worker (LLMSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Master's degree in related field.
- Familiarity with common social, emotional, and behavioral challenges faced by students. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in practice.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create comprehensive support plans for students.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and appropriate services.
- Facilitate communication between the school and students' families to ensure cohesive support.
- Coordinate with external agencies and community resources to provide additional services to students.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress. Adhere to school policies, procedures, and educational laws.
- Serve as a member of the school's Student Accommodations Team
