Job Description


In support of the DARPA project "Experiment Neutrino Detector, END-Underwater Muon
Detector", ETD needs a person to assist in scintillator plane assembly, and test for the detectors
that are to be used in underwater detectors.


Under the direction of the PPD and ETD staff, the work is expected to consist of the following:

• In detector Plane assembly
• ssist in detector test

Qualifications:

• We are interested in technicians who have at least 3-years' experience in system/component assembly, electrical and electronics assembly.
• Heavy assembly work.
• Mechanical assembly
• Experience with floor jacks, torque wrenches, heavy equipment movement, crane experience.
• However, only qualified client employees will be operating cranes and forklifts.

Expected deliverables:

• Report to the PI of END on assembly activities
