Additionally, Azure Monitor is the platform upon which Microsoft Sentinel is built. We have a multi-billion dollar business that is growing rapidly, and we run some of the world’s highest scale observability services both for Microsoft internally and for our external customers, processing over 1.5 Exabytes of logs daily and tracking over 100 billion active metrics.​ ​​We are looking for a Technical Program Manager II to drive the evolution of Azure Monitor's data collection, telemetry pipeline, and configuration management platform. In this role, you will own key experiences and platform capabilities that enable customers to discover, collect, configure, manage, route, and govern telemetry across diverse environments including Azure, multicloud, on-premises, and edge deployments. You will work at the intersection of customer experience, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, observability, and data platform engineering. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, design, program management, customer support, and field teams to simplify how customers onboard, configure, and operate Azure Monitor at scale. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, transforming customer bottleneck points into scalable platform capabilities, and driving execution across multiple engineering teams. Create clear product requirements, scenarios, success criteria, and operational metrics. Engage with strategic customers to understand observability architectures and operational challenges. Work with internal stakeholders across Azure services to ensure Azure Monitor provides consistent and integrated monitoring experiences. Drive cross-team initiatives from concept through launch. Manage dependencies, risks, stakeholder alignment, and communication plans.​ Embody our culture and values.QualificationsRequired Qualifications: 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.Other Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
