This full-time contract role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and the opportunity to work across a variety of age groups, including elementary, middle, high school, and possibly adult transition programs. This position serves a specialized education environment, so experience or strong interest in supporting higher-needs students is essential. You'll work alongside dedicated professionals to provide hands-on classroom assistance, fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional in an educational or special education setting preferred
• Comfortable and adaptable in classroom environments serving students with higher needs
• Valid Pennsylvania state clearances required (must be current or obtainable)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to reliably commute for daily onsite presence and participate in in-person interviews

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in the delivery of individualized education plans and classroom activities
• Support students during academic lessons and activities, adapting assistance as needed
• Encourage independence and positive behavior in diverse learners
• Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment
• Uphold confidentiality regarding student information at all times
