Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient status, monitor for changes, administer medications and therapies as ordered, and document care accurately in the medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; use critical thinking, professional judgement, and supervision to coordinate care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Adhere to unit policies, including unit-specific clock-in expectations when working in a Float Pool or cross-unit capacity.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Oncology nursing experience or related specialty exposure; 1+ year preferred
- Ability to fulfill the shift requirements for nights and 12-hour blocks
- Demonstrated ability to work in a hospital setting and to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of the nursing process, patient care planning, and documentation in electronic health records
- Ability to adapt to unit-based policies, including unit clock-in procedures for float assignments
