Location: Euclid, OH

Pay: $28-34/hr

Open Shifts: 1st (5am-1pm), 2nd (1pm-9pm), 3rd (9pm-5am)

Job Description

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing emergency and unscheduled repairs during production, as well as performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. This role requires following a preventive maintenance schedule, handling 480v 3 phase electrical wiring, and troubleshooting industrial machines.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Follow a preventive maintenance schedule.
• Handle 480v 3 phase electrical wiring and troubleshoot industrial machines.
• Perform basic facility maintenance such as changing light bulbs and supporting general office needs.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Detect faulty or unsafe operations or processes and report those to proper supervision.
• Comply with and facilitate enforcement of all safety regulations.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Manage and record work using a computerized PM and Work Request System.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Mechanical troubleshooting of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting up to 480-volt, 3-phase with multimeter testing.
• Working knowledge of safety protocols such as Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space, SDS, and OSHA regulations.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment utilizing hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
• Ability to use hand and electrical tools.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals and drawings.
• Capability to operate man lifts and lift trucks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in conveyor maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience in PLC troubleshooting and automation.
• Welding skills.

Work Environment

The facility is clean, organized, mild in temperature, and well-lit. It provides a quiet environment where employees can listen to their headphones (one earbud) during work hours. Casual dress is required, with gym shoes and eye protection necessary. Shifts available include 1st (5am-1pm), 2nd (1pm-9pm with a $1.50 shift differential), and 3rd (9pm-5am with a $1.50 shift differential).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
