Quality Control Laboratory Technician

Quality Control Laboratory TechnicianWe are seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations and quality testing activities for a new product line within a regulated environment. This role will perform laboratory testing, document results, support validation activities, and help ensure products meet established quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on laboratory experience, strong technical documentation skills, and experience working with microbiological testing methodologies.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform quality control testing to ensure products meet established specifications and quality standardsConduct laboratory assays using common laboratory equipment including pipettes and analytical instrumentsVisually inspect samples and materials for defects or nonconformanceAccurately document testing activities and enter results into electronic systemsIdentify, document, and escalate out-of-specification results and quality concernsSupport assay validations, change control documentation, and technical writing activitiesAssist with the development, review, and execution of validation protocols and test casesFollow all laboratory safety procedures, quality standards, and compliance requirementsParticipate in required training programs and maintain current procedural knowledgeSupport additional laboratory and quality-related activities as assignedRequired QualificationsAssociate's degree with a minimum of 3 years of laboratory or related experience, or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related life sciences disciplineExperience performing laboratory testing in a quality-controlled environmentStrong technical writing and documentation skillsExperience using MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointAbility to learn and use laboratory and quality management software systemsAbility to read, interpret, and follow technical procedures and testing protocolsPreferred QualificationsExperience operating a pH meter, analytical balance, and UV spectrophotometerExperience with aseptic techniques and microbiological testingKnowledge of bioburden testing, membrane filtration, and direct inoculation methodologiesExperience supporting instrument validation activities and protocol executionExperience in a regulated medical device or life sciences environmentKnowledge of quality assurance and laboratory compliance practicesThe Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.Pay Range: $20/hr to $25/hr
