This contract role focuses on grades 9-12 and calls for expertise in school social work or marriage and family therapy. The district is seeking a passionate professional dedicated to improving student mental well-being and fostering a positive, supportive campus atmosphere.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid LMFT or LCSW license required
• Experience providing mental health support to adolescents
• Background in school-based social work, counseling, or family therapy
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and outside resources
• Demonstrated knowledge of adolescent development and crisis intervention

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 28-30 high school students in need of case management and counseling
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions during school hours
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized care plans for students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote students’ social, emotional, and academic success
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
• Provide crisis intervention and referrals to community services as appropriate

Position Details:

• Assignment runs from August 12, 2026 to June 3, 2027
• Full 35-hour work week: Monday through Friday, 8:15 am - 3:45 pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
• Work directly on-site in a high school setting
