• Position: Nurse Practitioner - Gastroenterology
• Employment Type: Locum tenens
• Location: Toledo, Ohio (43608) - a welcoming Midwest community with a strong local healthcare network, convenient amenities, and easy access to the city's riverfront and cultural attractions.
• Setting: Inpatient, hospital-based
• Schedule: Every other week, 7 days on / 7 days off, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Call: No call
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,630 - $4,300
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Patients Per Day: Approximately 20-25
• EMR: EPIC

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner required
• Active Ohio NP license required
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of experience required; 2 years of experience preferred
• Strong inpatient gastroenterology experience preferred
• Experience with consults, follow-up care, and endoscopy preparation preferred

• Provide inpatient gastroenterology consults and follow-up visits
• Assist with scheduling and prep for endoscopy procedures
• Support the care of adult patients in a hospital-based GI setting
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other care team members
• Maintain a high standard of patient-centered care throughout each shift

• Consistent locum tenens NP schedule with no call
• Work in a collaborative gastroenterology and inpatient hospital environment
