Job Summary and Qualifications

The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for the clinical operational and administrative oversight for all departments in the absence of the Managers and Directors.

Essential Accountabilities:

• Coordinates Patient Placement
• Serves as administrative Liaison
• Responsible for Staffing
• Demonstrates leadership through supervision, facilitation and coordination of clinical care
• Assists with the coordination of management activities and serves as administrative support to Nurse Manager and Nurse Director.
• Participates as a member of the care team to achieve business goals.

What qualifications you will need:

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Preferred Education: Master's Degree

Required License: Must have and maintain current license as a registered nurse in North Carolina or one of the compact states as defined by North Carolina Board of Nursing, and must have and maintain current BCLS. ACLS and/or PALS may be required.

Preferred Certifications: Specialty Certification in Leadership from National Organization

Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years nursing experience with 2 years of supervisory or management experience

Preferred Experience: Critical Care nursing experience
