Job Description: Summary: The Team Member Health RN is responsible for the evaluation and promotion of team member health and safety through screening of new team members and annual screening of team members thereafter. This position is responsible for all aspects of evaluation, education, counseling and follow-up of team members having exposure to communicable disease and blood and body fluid exposure. The Team Member Health RN administers first-aid and dispenses over the counter medications for symptomatic relief of minor diseases as appropriate. This position is essential in assisting in areas where compliance with federal, state and accreditation standards are necessary. The Team Member Health RN evaluates, counsels, motivates and refers team members with various physical and emotional concerns. This person is responsible for maintaining health records in a confidential manner and in accordance with all governing agencies. This position demonstrates competence to treat adult patients. The Team Member Health RN is available for consultation and advisory services related to Ballad Health facilities. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Previous experience in a Team Member Health or Occupational Medicine role is preferable.

Licenses and Certifications: Active Registered Nurse license in appropriate state CPR certification required.
