As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a key role in eliciting requirements, collaborate with architects and technical leads to drive technology solutions, and serve as a technical liaison for commerce-web team. Additionally, you will serve a key role in mentoring and developing the engineering team.Location: Hybrid (Lakeland, FL): To support our hybrid work model, candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a commutable distance of Lakeland, FL. Your Impact:Commerce-Web applications and cloud-native solutionsPartner with business stakeholders, product owners, and analysts to gather requirements and deliver secure, scalable technology solutions.Architect and implement complex technical solutions while providing technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.Monitor and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) workloads, resolving application and infrastructure performance issues.Conduct code reviews, facilitate knowledge sharing, and mentor experienced software engineers.Manage project planning, execution, and implementation activities to ensure successful delivery.Serve as the primary technical liaison between business areas, technology teams, and support partners, including after-hours support when needed.#LI-JB1 Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience.7+ years of hands-on software development experience delivering enterprise applications (design, development, and end-to-end delivery), with a proven track record leading complex, cross-team initiatives 5+ years of expert-level proficiency in .NET and C# (including .NET 8+), with deep experience in ASP.NET Core, Web API, and MVC, and a strong grounding in OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns. 5+ years designing and building microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven/distributed systems, including resiliency patterns, observability, scalability, and high availability. 5+ years of experience with SQL, database design, and the use of ORM frameworks (such as Dapper or Entity Framework) to develop efficient and scalable across data stores such as Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Azure Cosmos DB 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure using modern cloud architecture patterns and platform services.1+ years of experience monitoring and troubleshooting application workloads deployed to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), identifying performance bottlenecks and collaborating with DevOps teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
