FAB Shop Plumber

TP Cincinnati 1500 Kemper Meadow Dr Cincinnati, OH 45240, USA Responsibilities Manage materials to ensure timely completion of the work scheduled. Ensures optimal material consumption. Strengthens skills to encourage improvement in other plumbers or fitters. Emphasizes commitment to continually improve company procedures and processes by the use and development of measurements, analysis and subsequent changes to procedures in the best interests of the company. Focuses on safety and safety practices first and foremost during all task assignments. Ensures the quality and profitability of each project by eliminating waste in materials and labor whenever possible. Serves as a coach by monitoring lower echelon mechanic and helper production and quality workmanship. Continually provides training in areas needing improvements to ensure quality, production and safety. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 4 years prior construction or plumbing experience. Experience with PVC, Copper, Steel Pipe, and Fixture Carriers preferred. Able to use basic tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.) Honest, reliable, dependable and display good character High School or GED Equivalent Med Gas Certification preferred Eyesight correctable to 20/50 Able to stand for long hours Lift items weighing up to 60 lbs. Must not be afraid of heights. Must provide their own basic hand tools.
