Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Flexible scheduling available with 3x12 or 4x12 shift options. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 on a 32-bed unit. Weekend coverage typically every other weekend based on staffing needs. Floating within facility may be required based on scope of practice.

Highlights:

• Overflow Intermediate Care Unit specializing in cardiac, pulmonary, renal, and post-surgical patients
• Diverse patient population including arrhythmia management, CHF, chest pain, COPD, DKA, post-cardiac cath, and occasional vascular or overflow patients
• Epic EMR system (preferred), with Pyxis and SBAR protocols
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Contract length varies; maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• Holiday coverage required based on assignment period

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; prior travel experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience managing continuous IV medications including cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin), diuretics (Bumex, Lasix), anticoagulants (Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin), and insulin drips
• Experience with TR Bands, telemetry monitoring, and arrhythmia interpretation
• Proficiency in Med/Surg skills including IV starts, blood product administration, central line care, feeding tube management, and PICC line management
• Experience with cardiac catheterization pre/post care and basic hemodynamic monitoring
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
