Senior Technical RecruiterGimlet is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to help build the technical teams behind our AI infrastructure.You will work on some of our most important and difficult searches across compilers, kernels, distributed systems, ML systems, networking, and infrastructure. These are small talent markets where the best candidates are rarely applying to jobs. Finding them requires understanding the technology, mapping the right communities and companies, and developing relationships with exceptional engineers.You will partner directly with engineering leaders and founders to define what great looks like, build the market, run searches end to end, and help candidates understand why Gimlet is worth betting on.We want someone who is curious enough to learn deeply technical domains, has strong instincts for talent, and wants meaningful ownership over how a company gets built.What You Will Work OnOwn technical searches end to end, from defining the profile and talent market through sourcing, assessment, closing, and hire.Develop enough technical depth to understand the engineers we're looking for and where exceptional people in those communities tend to work.Build targeted talent maps and proactively engage candidates who aren't actively looking.Partner closely with engineering leaders to evaluate signal, calibrate the hiring bar, and make better hiring decisions.Build relationships and networks that compound over time rather than relying primarily on inbound.Use data and AI to improve sourcing, market intelligence, interview quality, and recruiting execution.Help us continually improve how Gimlet identifies, assesses, and closes exceptional people.You May Be A Good Fit IfYou have 5+ years of technical recruiting experience and have recruited difficult-to-find engineering talent.You've hired in areas such as systems, infrastructure, ML/AI, distributed systems, compilers, kernels, networking, databases, or other deeply technical domains.You're an excellent sourcer and can show how you've found people others weren't finding.You're genuinely curious about technology and can learn a new technical market quickly.You're comfortable challenging and advising senior engineering leaders rather than simply taking requirements.You care about candidate experience and know how to build conviction with highly sought-after passive candidates.You operate with urgency, independence, and strong judgment.Strong Candidates May Also HaveExperience recruiting compiler, kernel, GPU, HPC, or AI infrastructure engineers.Experience at an early-stage or rapidly scaling technical company.A strong network across systems or AI infrastructure.Experience building recruiting programs, processes, or market intelligence from scratch.Why join now?Solve hard problems.Own meaningful work.Build for production.Help define what's next.Agency Policy: Gimlet Labs does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruitment agencies or search firms.
