TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, MOAB Must-Have: Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty. Unit will only accept contracts between 20-26 weeks. Minimum of 4 weekend days per 6-week time track, possibly every other weekend. Travelers with 1st-time experience will be accepted. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. There is no option to work out RTO onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO in the unit could possibly lead to a cancel and DNR. The patient population includes a diverse range of ages from neonates to geriatrics. The unit handles approximately 250 visits per day. Ratios are between 1:3-5. Floating is required between different emergency units depending on the greatest need. Skills required include IV start, triage, and telemetry management. Preferred skills include TNCC certification. Interdisciplinary support includes teams like IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. The unit follows a teamwork approach and must adhere to behavioral expectations. All candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as needed.
