Cook Location: Iowa City, IA Schedule: Monday-Friday (Every Other Weekend) Shift: 7:30AM-4:00PM Pay: $17.24/hr. Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Food Service Cook & Server to join our team. This role prepares and cooks food both in view of customers in the marketplace and in the kitchen, provides excellent customer service, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in delivering quality food and service. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook food ingredients and menu items in both the kitchen and marketplace areas. Serve food directly to customers while providing a positive and friendly experience. Follow all state, federal, and departmental food safety rules when handling and storing food and equipment. Receive and check in food deliveries and supplies. Qualifications: Previous food service experience preferred but not required. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment. Good communication skills and attention to detail.
