Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year with at least 1 travel assignment completed License: RN License Required Certifications: NIH, ACLS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Must be able to start IVs. Must be able to insert Foley catheters. Must be able to insert NG tubes. Experience needed performing EKGs. Experience with heparin drips. Description: This position involves providing care to patients in a medical surgical setting. The unit has a total of 48 beds. The patient ratio is 1:6. Candidates may be required to float to inpatient rehab or emergency room to perform tasks. Common diagnoses and treatments will include a variety of medical surgical conditions. A personality fit that aligns with a high turnover environment is preferred. Satisfactory performance in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is essential.
