Pharmacist PositionThis is a time limited position. Perform the duties of a licensed pharmacist in processing and verifying prescriptions for the ADAP/Ryan White Grant and Tuberculosis Programs in an appropriate and timely manner. Work through insurance rejections and mail-order issues. Support the MSDH pharmacy in medication protocols and dispensing to meet agency needs for disease outbreaks like Monkeypox, COVID, Pertussis, and/or other emerging public health disease threats.What you'll need to be successful: Appropriate calculation skills, decision-making skills, clinical-decision making, pharmaceutical knowledge, team-player. Experience as a pharmacist, understanding of Microsoft Office, willing to learn, flexible, adaptable.Preferred Qualifications: Typically requires state licensure as a Pharmacist and 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist.
