SUMMARY:

Instructors have a variety of job functions including, but not limited to, successfully leading a class through appropriately designed routines, with proper music selection to enhance overall fitness, strength, and endurance, while ensuring the safety of the members. Recording attendance is considered an after-class duty.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Conduct engaging and dynamic Barre classes for participants of all fitness levels. Develop and deliver safe and effective Barre routines that focus on strength, balance, and flexibility. Provide clear instructions and proper form cues during class. Offer modifications and variations to accommodate individual participant needs. Create a welcoming and inclusive class environment that encourages client participation and retention. Maintain a clean and organized fitness studio space. Stay current on industry trends and continuously improve your knowledge of Barre techniques. Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required. Minimum Qualifications:

WHO YOU ARE:

Certified Barre Instructor with a recognized certification (e.g., Barre Above, Barre Intensity, etc.) CPR /AED and First Aid certification (Training provided by JCC if needed) Previous teaching experience is a plus but not required; we welcome talented new instructors. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Punctual, reliable, and professional demeanor.

PHYSICAL SKILLS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
