Contract | Full-Time | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | 36–48 Hours/Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum settings according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff across the unit
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
• Provide care in a Level 2 NICU environment as required for day shift assignments
• Monitor fetal status using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques and respond appropriately to findings

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Demonstrated Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Level 2 NICU experience required for day shift

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Postpartum nursing experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility background
• Intermediate fetal monitoring proficiency
