Primary PurposeResponsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient transfer of wastewater from onsite storage to DOT-approved tanker trucks, supporting data center operations and maintaining environmental and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesWastewater Transfer & Equipment OperationConnect hoses, pumps, and transfer systems to load wastewater into tanker trucksMonitor flow rates, tank levels, and capacities to prevent overfillsPerform line clearing and equipment shutdown proceduresInspect and maintain pumps, hoses, fittings, and containment systemsSampling & DocumentationCollect wastewater samples per site and disposal requirementsComplete load tickets, manifests, and chain-of-custody recordsAccurately track volumes, waste types, and transport detailsLogistics & CoordinationCoordinate truck staging, loading schedules, and site flowCommunicate with drivers, dispatch, and site teams to meet daily targetsSite Operations & ComplianceConduct site inspections and support waste consolidation and disposalCoordinate with TSDFs on waste profiles, sampling, and schedulingPrepare hazardous/non-hazardous waste shipments and maintain inventory recordsEnsure compliance with all RCRA, DOT, EPA, and company safety standardsOperate forklifts and assist with loading/unloading as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (science background preferred)Hands-on knowledge of RCRA, DOT, and EPA regulations40-hour HAZWOPER certification (required)Ability to obtain CDL and additional certifications (e.g., CHMM)Strong safety focus and adherence to PPE requirementsWork EnvironmentOutdoor/field-based role at customer sitesRequires use of PPE (hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, etc.)Univar Solutions is a leading, global distributor of chemicals and ingredients essential to the safety, health, and wellbeing of our daily lives from life-saving medicines and vitamins to hand sanitizers and industrial materials used for cleaning, construction, and more.
