About the Role

The Company is in search of a Principal, Global Head of Reconciliation, Credit to lead the cash and par reconciliation processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the reconciliation team, providing guidance, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the reconciliation process. This role involves daily management of reconciliation with custodian banks and paying agents, directing fund administrators and custodian banks on process solutions, and maintaining quality controls. The Principal will also be expected to prepare KPIs, influence policy decisions for compliance, and manage relationships with various financial institutions. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related discipline, with a minimum of 10-12 years' experience in investment management operations, particularly in the area of reconciliation. A strong knowledge of asset classes, including credit/fixed income, derivatives, and FX, is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience with Wall Street Office, Geneva, Power BI, and Python is preferred. The role also demands a solid understanding of basic accounting theories, with experience in hedge funds, credit, or private equity being a plus. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a team, have a keen eye for detail, and be capable of contributing to process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
