HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SENIOR MARKETPLACES AD STRATEGIST IN HOUSTON, TX

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Senior Marketplaces Ad Strategist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This individual will be responsible for owning a multi-million dollar annual advertising budget end to end: strategy, allocation, execution, and results. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of hands-on marketplace advertising experience, with at least 3 years on Amazon Ads, experience managing 7-figure annual advertising spend, and much more listed below. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000 Base Salary + Annual Bonus
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• Houston on-site with Hybrid schedule (2 days remote per week)
• Located in Houston, Texas

Duties and Responsibilities

• Own the full advertising budget across Amazon (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP), Walmart Connect, and Google Ad campaigns driving to Amazon
• Manage to a blended TACoS target with two-sided accountability: overspending erodes profitability, but under-deploying budget means lost revenue and lost rank. Your job is the sweet spot, not the lowest number
• Allocate budget across brands and channels based on where the return is, including ranking campaigns where high ACOS is the intentional cost of building organic position, and drive ad-attributed revenue growth for each brand
• Lead and direct our advertising agency partners and serve as our point of contact with platform account teams (Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect), running those relationships and meetings independently
• Full-funnel campaign management across all accounts: structure, keyword strategy, bids, placements, negation hygiene, and budget pacing
• Use AMC (Amazon Marketing Cloud) and SQP data to answer attribution and audience questions standard reports can't
• Run campaign hygiene across all accounts; resolve suspended or unapproved ads and open cases when needed. Supplements is an aggressive category and staying ahead of it is part of the craft
• Own weekly and monthly advertising reporting (TACoS by channel, budget vs. actual, ad-attributed vs. organic split) and flag trends, risks, and opportunities with recommendations, not just data
• Build and maintain AI-assisted workflows for the advertising function (bulk files, search term mining, reporting automation) and adopt new advertising capabilities that measurably help

Requirements and Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on marketplace advertising experience, with at least 3 years on Amazon Ads
• Experience managing 7-figure annual advertising spend; you've owned the number, not just executed against it
• Deep expertise across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and Amazon DSP, with working fluency in AMC
• Experience with Walmart Connect, or demonstrated ability to extend Amazon expertise to adjacent retail media platforms
• Experience leading agencies and platform account teams independently: directing the work, running the meetings, and holding them accountable
• Demonstrated AI/automation fluency: you can show us workflows you've built (scripts, bulk pipelines, LLM-assisted processes) and explain the hours or dollars they saved
• Strong analytical skills: Excel/Sheets mastery and comfort with large datasets and bulk files; SQL or scripting a plus
• Leadership experience or clear leadership potential, extremely proactive, and able to explain a TACoS decision to leadership in plain English
• Background in the natural health, supplement, or regulated CPG categories
• Actively embracing healthy living
• TikTok Shop advertising experience (GMV Max)
• Experience with enterprise ad platforms (Pacvue, Perpetua, Skai, or similar) and Google-to-Amazon funnels. 
• Experience at a brand that scaled from 8 to 9 figures
