Every minute our blow molders, fillers, conveyors, and palletizers operate at peak performance, we deliver for customers and teammates. You’ll collaborate with Production, Quality Control, Sanitation, contractors, and OEMs to keep equipment reliable, changeovers crisp, and start-ups smooth.

Schedule and employment

• Pay: $25.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience
• Schedule: All shifts are open; our largest need is on 3rd shift
• Hours: Minimum 48 hours per week
• Job Type: Full-time
• Overtime: Required as needed
• Work Location: In person

We’re staffing across shifts and actively prioritizing strong 3rd shift candidates.

Your core responsibilities

• Own scheduled/unscheduled maintenance for production equipment and plant machinery.
• Diagnose and repair issues across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to extend asset life.
• Reduce downtime through fast, accurate troubleshooting and repair.
• Support installations, modifications, commissioning, and changeovers.
• Read and apply mechanical drawings, schematics, manuals, and technical references.
• Conduct daily inspections; promptly communicate major findings to Maintenance leadership.
• Provide hands-on support for blow molders, fillers, conveyors, palletizers, and packaging systems.
• Open/close work orders and maintain precise records of work performed.
• Respond effectively during breakdowns and high-pressure scenarios.
• Model safety, GMP , food safety, quality, sanitation, and company policies.
• Keep the work environment clean, organized, and safe.

Specialized Sidel impact (if you have it)

• Operate, monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot Sidel blow molding equipment .
• Lead changeovers, start-ups, fine-tuning, and major mechanical interventions.
• Maintain platforms like SBO, Matrix, Universal, Series 2 , or similar lines.
• Resolve mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic and basic electrical issues on Sidel machines.
• Partner with QC to verify bottle conformance to standards.
• Advance bottle quality initiatives, process improvements, and downtime reduction.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain blow molding and adjacent production equipment.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Industrial maintenance or related mechanical/manufacturing equipment background.
• Sharp troubleshooting skills and a bias for action.
• Independence and urgency when equipment issues arise.
• Ability to commit to at least 48 hours per week and work overtime/weekends/holidays as needed.
• Safe work habits around moving production machinery.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, push, and pull.
• Lift at least 50 pounds.
• Comfort with warm, loud, wet, fast‑paced environments.
• Willingness to wear all required PPE.

Experience that sets you apart

• Direct work on Sidel blow molding equipment .
• Time in beverage, bottled water, soft drink, food manufacturing, plastics, PET packaging, or bottling.
• Hands‑on with fillers, conveyors, palletizers, blow molders, and packaging machinery.
• Skills in electrical, welding, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, or equipment installation.
• Familiarity with PLCs and automated production systems.
• Track record of major rebuilds or equipment overhauls.
• Experience as a Sidel Field Service Engineer or Service Technician.
• Forklift/equipment certifications.
• Basic computer literacy for work orders and maintenance documentation.

Physical and safety expectations

• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly; use assistance/equipment for heavier items.
• Stand and walk for long durations.
• Bend, reach, kneel, climb, push, and pull as part of daily work.
• Operate near moving equipment; work in wet, noisy, and hot areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
