About the Role:

We're searching for nurses in the Cleveland, GA area. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within the Health Care and Social Assistance industry, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings. Your primary objective will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to promote patient health and recovery while ensuring safety and comfort. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs and clinical best practices. Additionally, you will provide education and support to patients and their families to empower them in managing health conditions and making informed decisions. Your work will directly impact patient outcomes and contribute to the overall effectiveness and reputation of the healthcare facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in acute care, long-term care, or community health.
• Strong understanding of nursing principles, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate Degree (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Advanced certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.
• Specialty certifications relevant to the clinical area, such as oncology, critical care, or geriatrics.
• Previous experience in patient education, case management, or leadership roles within nursing.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, emotional, and psychosocial evaluations to determine care needs.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized nursing care plans in coordination with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely and accurately while monitoring patient responses and documenting all care activities.
• Provide patient and family education on health conditions, treatment plans, medication management, and preventive care strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns promptly to the healthcare team to ensure timely interventions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to infection control and safety protocols to promote a safe care environment.
• Support patients emotionally and psychologically, advocating for their needs and preferences throughout the care process.
