Job Description

If you arelooking for a collaborative dynamic physician-led practice environment where you can learn grow and excel in providing integrated multidisciplinary patient centered care then Summit Health is the place to be! We are seeking alicensed Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work collaboratively with our Urgent Care Department in a Per Diem role

Requirements include:

• Current NY/CT State License
• BoardCertification
• 2 years of related experience preferred
• Solid decision-making analytical time-management and communication skills
• Experience in treating both pediatric and adult populations

Responsibilitiesinclude:

• Identifying chief complaints/issues
• Obtaining detailed and accurate patient histories
• Performing physical exams
• Performing procedures including (but not limited to) suturing splinting and abscess draining
• Interpreting diagnostic and other test results (e.g. EKGs X-Rays Lab Work)
• Communicating and educating patients
• Formulating treatment plans and arranging follow-up care as needed
• Working closely with physicians and support staff to ensure efficiency and proper patient flow

Compensation Range: $75.00 - $90.00 per hour

The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience individual performance quality measures and location of position.
