Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment. You may be required to float to various units as needed to meet the operational requirements of the facility.ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality nursing care in medical-surgical and telemetry environments.Monitor patients' vital signs, and ECG rhythms, and provide necessary interventions.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.Manage medication administration and ensure patient safety.Engage with patients and their families, providing education and support.Shift InformationRotating day and night shifts (7pm-7:30am / 7am-7:30pm).Holiday work is required, with a commitment to work at least every other holiday.Shifts may be variable to accommodate operational needs.QualificationsMinimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty being applied for.Valid Ohio license or compact state license required.Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) are mandatory.Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.Unit InformationThe position may involve working in areas including, but not limited to, seizure monitoring, Med/Surg telemetry, and emergency departments.
