As a Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed04:00 PM - 02:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 02:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, common spaces, parking areas, and surrounding campus grounds to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed. Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and campus representatives regarding incidents, observations, and shift activities. Minimum Requirements: Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
