Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. Candidates must be well-rounded and experienced across multiple service areas including neuro (craniotomy and spinal fusions), orthopedics (total joints), GYN (C-sections and hysterectomies), robotics, general surgery (including vascular and trauma), and urology.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting.
• Experience across the following OR service areas: neuro (craniotomy and spinal fusions), orthopedic total joint procedures, GYN (C-section and hysterectomy), robotics, general surgery including vascular and trauma, and urology.
• Experience working in a hospital surgical environment, preferably in a trauma center or with high-acuity surgical cases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Level III trauma center or similarly complex surgical facility.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art operating suites and advanced perioperative equipment.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1900.
