We are seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager in Portland, Oregon to originate and manage a diverse commercial loan portfolio, drive relationship-based growth, and deliver high-quality banking solutions while maintaining strong credit discipline and risk management. Essential Functions: Responsible for generating and servicing a variety of commercial and industrial loans, and bank services in accordance with individually established business development goals. Achieves portfolio growth and cross-sale goals. Oversees assigned loan portfolio to ensure proper compliance with loan covenants. Responsible for monitoring portfolio quality, stability and managing risks. Makes presentations regarding bank products and services to prospective clients and company principals. Performs underwriting functions as needed. Continually monitors credit quality of assigned accounts. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships, with a resulting high degree of customer satisfaction. May train and mentor lower level officers. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree in banking, finance or a related field and at least 4-6+ years Commercial and Industrial Loan experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications. Advanced knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, lending, loan processing and closing processes. Ability to expand commercial loans, client relationships and cross-sell bank products. Requires strong sales ability. Solid experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment skills. Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
