Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• May provide care for COVID-positive patients as needed
• Float to other units and cover holidays as operationally required

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license violations
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong proficiency with EPIC charting in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Ability to adapt to a blocked scheduling format
• Experience working in a tobacco-free and fragrance-free clinical environment
