AWS Finance is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with Agentic Workspaces and Physical AI leadership teams within the AWS Applied AI Solutions portfolio. The Finance Manager leads financial planning & analysis, provides strategic financial leadership, drives pricing strategy, cost optimization, and financial planning. This is a high visibility role supporting three VP leaders across business and finance.Key job responsibilitiesFinancial Planning and Analysis- Lead FP&A activities, building models to measure financial performance- Develop forecasts and present insights to senior leadership- Support revenue modeling and cost savings initiatives- Evaluate new business opportunities with financial analysis- Drive automation initiatives and implement AI-powered tools to transform FP&A- Establish and maintain the financial rhythm of business.Strategic Financial Leadership- Partner with business leaders to co-create Operational Expense and staffing strategies, develop financial models, and derive actionable insights.- Lead development and implementation of the long-range strategic plan, annual plan, and quarterly forecasts- Leverage data-driven insights and analytics to influence executive decision-making to drive revenue growth and promote cost discipline- Foster a culture of thought leadership within the team to drive the business towards long-term profitability objectives Controllership- Deliver precise, insight-driven financial reports that enable informed executive decision-making- Maintain rigorous financial controls and reporting standards to ensure data integrity and compliance- Drive process optimization to enhance analytical capabilities while preserving control frameworks- Foster cross-functional collaboration to align diverse teams toward strategic objectivesPricing Strategy- Design data-driven pricing strategies that optimize market competitiveness and profit margins- Drive financials for Private Purchase Agreements, securing favorable terms and conditions- Conduct comprehensive scenario analysis across pricing models to identify risk exposure and strategic opportunitiesAbout the teamAWS Applied AI Solutions Core Services Finance unites exceptional financial talent to drive the future of Agentic AI. As strategic partners to the Core Services organization, we enable their mission to become the trusted technology provider for Applied AI solutions.Basic qualifications- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)- 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience- 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experiencePreferred qualification - 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience- MBA, or CPA- Knowledge of SQL/ETL- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results- 7+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experienceAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
