Join our healthcare partner in Vail, CO, where you'll play a crucial role in assisting during surgical procedures. Your expertise in sterile and aseptic techniques will ensure the integrity of the surgical field, while your knowledge of human anatomy and surgical procedures will support the surgical team in delivering exceptional patient care.

• Possess expertise in sterile and aseptic techniques, applying knowledge of human anatomy and surgical procedures
• Maintain and check all items for proper packaging, processing, and expiration dates
• Ensure the operating room environment is safe and equipment functions properly
• Monitor sterile field for contamination and initiate corrective action as needed
• Assist with patient transports, room turnovers, and room preparation
• Model effective communication with the perioperative team
• Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization
• Stay current with new technologies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned, maintaining HIPAA compliance

Requirements:

• Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or Licensed Surgical Technologist
• Licensed as a Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Proficient in English, including reading, writing, and speaking
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
