Retail Staff Pharmacist in Merrill, OR

A retail pharmacist opportunity is available in the Klamath Falls area, offering a 13-week contract with the potential to float between multiple nearby retail/outpatient locations within a 5-mile radius. This role requires a pharmacist to manage prescription verification, filling, and checking, oversee pharmacy technicians, and counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications.


Schedule & Hours:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 5:15 PM
• Some Saturday shifts required
• Float coverage among several local sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and dispense prescription medications
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Provide patient counseling on medication use and safety
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Oregon pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
• Availability to work full-time, including some Saturdays
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
