Accounting Operations Specialist

Description: On-site in West Deptford, NJ Our client is seeking a contract accounting operations professional to provide maternity leave coverage. The role requires administrative and transactional processing experience with a focus on AR and AP in a fast-paced produce importing and distribution environment. The consultant will learn and operate specialized systems while supporting day-to-day accounting workflows. We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. Rate: $45.00 to $55.00/hr. w2 Responsibilities: Support daily AR and AP transaction processing with accuracy and timeliness. Assist with invoice generation, receipt application, and vendor payment runs. Maintain documentation and records within specialized accounting systems. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams. Contribute to process continuity and coverage during the maternity leave period. Experience Requirements: Hands-on AR/AP processing experience in a dynamic operations environment. Proficiency with administrative accounting tasks and data entry. Ability to learn and navigate specialized or proprietary systems. Attention to detail and adherence to established procedures and deadlines.
