Safety Coordinator Location: Vassar, MI Work Type: In-Person Pay: $22-$29/hour Help Build a Safer Workplace and Make an Impact Every Day. - Support safety programs and OSHA compliance across multiple locations.
- Conduct safety training and assist with safety meetings.
- Perform facility walk-throughs and identify potential hazards.
- Maintain OSHA logs, safety records, and compliance documentation.
- Support forklift certification, fleet safety, and incident reporting.
- Partner with HR on workers' compensation and safety-related matters.
- 6+ months of safety coordination or workplace safety experience.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety documentation.
- Experience with OSHA 300 logs, incident reporting, or compliance tracking.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a shop or industrial environment.
- Ability to work independently and promote a culture of safety.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Workers compensation reporting experience.
- Silica, concrete, stone, manufacturing, fabrication, construction or industrial experience.
