The ideal candidate will have a background in corporate finance and be familiar with issues investors face in complex restructurings.As a Restructuring Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients in matters related to corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, and insolvency. You will work closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes.Key responsibilities:Conduct legal research and analysis on complex restructuring and bankruptcy issuesPrepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefsRepresent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trialsNegotiate with opposing counsel and other parties involved in restructuring and bankruptcy casesProvide strategic advice to clients on restructuring and bankruptcy mattersCollaborate with other attorneys and professionals, such as accountants and financial advisors, to develop comprehensive solutions for clientsStay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to restructuring and bankruptcyMentor and supervise junior associates and legal staffQualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in the state5+ years of experience in corporate restructuring and bankruptcy lawStrong understanding of bankruptcy laws and proceduresExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneouslyStrong work ethic and dedication to providing high-quality legal services to clientsWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
