Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Specialty: Inpatient and/or Outpatient Rehabilitation
Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years

Role Overview

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders, licensure standards, and patient-specific needs. The role involves interdisciplinary collaboration, discharge planning, and patient/family education to support functional independence and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans based on diagnosis, age, and clinical condition
• Provide patient and family education on therapy, assistive devices, and home programs
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and assist with discharge planning
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately
• Perform pain assessments and take appropriate clinical action
• Supervise OTAs as per licensure guidelines

Certification Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license (North Dakota State Board)
• NBCOT certification (OTR/L)
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record (if required for travel between sites)
