Emergency Medicine Physician MD/DO - Conway, AR

Conway, Arkansas | 12-Month Assignment |

Conway Regional Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 12-month locum tenens opportunity in Conway, AR . This is an excellent opportunity for an EM-trained physician seeking competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and a well-supported emergency department. Assignment Highlights

  • 12-month assignment beginning August 2026

  • Minimum of just 3 shifts per month

  • Level III Trauma Center

  • Full specialty backup available

  • No call requirement

  • Strong NP/PA support

  • Meditech EMR

Emergency Department at a Glance

  • 33,500 annual visits

  • 91 average patients/day

  • 20 ED beds

  • 12 ICU beds

  • 20.1% admission rate

  • 16.9% EMS volume

  • Level III Trauma Center

Physician Coverage

36 physician hours/day with dedicated NP/PA coverage of 20 hours/day .

  • 9:00 PM6:00 AM

FridaySunday

  • 6:00 AM6:00 PM

Qualifications

Candidates must have:

  • ABEM or ABOEM Board Certification

  • Emergency Medicine residency training

  • Active Arkansas Medical License

  • ACLS, PALS, and ATLS

  • Arkansas DEA

Please note: The facility does not accept alternative boards. ABPS is not accepted.

Facility Credentialing & Onboarding

  • Approximately 120-day privileging timeframe

  • No expedited privileges available

  • Complete credentialing file must include:

    • Application

    • Three professional references

    • Arkansas Medical License

    • Arkansas DEA

    • Required certifications

    • Certificate of Insurance

    • Photo
