Position Summary


American Canyon Company is seeking Forklift Operators who will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to transport, store, load, and unload products in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Candidates must be committed to maintaining food safety, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or electric forklifts
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
• Move raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products throughout the facility
• Supply production lines with materials as needed
• Transport finished goods to designated warehouse storage locations
• Accurately scan and track inventory using warehouse management systems
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse and production areas
• Follow all food safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and company policies
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required
• Adhere to all OSHA and company safety regulations

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required
• Forklift certification preferred
• Experience in a food manufacturing or production environment is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer and inventory tracking experience preferred
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
