Position Summary

Critical Energy Services is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our growing team. The successful candidate will perform AC power installations, including switchgear, electrical panels, conduit systems, generators, downstream distribution equipment, and power cutover activities throughout our eight-state service area (Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisianna, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and South Carolina).

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 5-10 years of AC electrical installation experience
• Experience with controls & monitoring systems
• Knowledge of NEC and proficiency with digital multimeters
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel as required
• Required Personal Tools

• Channel locks, adjustable wrenches, screwdrivers, Allen keys, hacksaw, lineman pliers, wire strippers, socket sets, digital multimeter, cordless drill, utility knife, and torpedo level

Key Responsibilities

• Install, connect, wire, and test generators, switchgear, electrical panels, breakers, and conductors
• Measure, cut, and bend conduit using hand and mechanical benders
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Conduct equipment testing and troubleshooting
• Perform nighttime cutovers when required
• Complete project documentation and maintain safety compliance
