We are committed to a culture where all employees are included, belong, and have equal opportunity to achieve their full potential. Come make a difference with us!Learn more about BNSF and our BenefitsJob Location: Kansas CityOther Potential Locations: Kansas City, KS Anticipated Start Date: 09/16/2026Number of Positions: 1 Salary Range: $128,430 - $142,700Apply early as this job may be removed or filled prior to the closing date, which is approximately seven (7) days after the posting date.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESPlan, develop, and organize all terminal operating activities and required supporting programs to achieve the safest most efficient, economical operations consistent with safety, quality, and customer service.Develop and supervise Terminal Trainmasters and TY&E employees.Develop short and long term plans to improve mainline train and yard switching operations.Ensure compliance with BNSF's equal employment policies, safety and operating rules, schedule agreements, and Government regulations.Interface with various work groups to continually meet or exceed customer expectations.Hold investigations and recommend discipline.Develop continuous improvement processes to assist with controlling costs to meet budget goals.Assist in the development and execution of the Terminal Safety Action Plan to ensure a safe and efficient operation.Assist in investigations of train accidents and injury reporting.Position may be subject to on call status and/or work shifts, holidays and weekends.The duties and responsibilities in this posting are representative categories to be used in deciding whether to apply for the position.
