Job Description
The Heavy Line and Diesel Technician will perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy line systems and diesel vehicles. This role requires expertise in complex mechanical systems and a dedication to high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair heavy line components, including engines, transmissions, and differentials.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure accurate repairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors to provide repair updates.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification (ASE, Diesel, or similar) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a heavy line or diesel technician.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy line systems, and diagnostic procedures.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and automotive repair equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
