Respiratory Therapist - NICU
This is a 13-week contract position.
12-hour night shifts, varying from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Respiratory Therapist specialized in neonatal intensive care (NICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a commitment to providing high-quality care to critically ill newborns.
- Perform respiratory care assessments and interventions for neonatal patients.
- Administer prescribed therapies in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with medical teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
- A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a NICU setting.
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Neonatal delivery experience is highly preferred.
- GA RRT licensure is required.
- Current certifications in AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NBRC-RRT are mandatory.
