Cardiac Device Specialist

To support a growing cardiac remote monitoring program, the full-time Cardiac Device Specialist will manage the review of transmissions from Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIEDs), educate patients, and coordinate care with clinical staff in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Review daily alerts and transmissions from remote monitoring software for enrolled patients Document findings and communicate with clinical staff and physicians regarding patient care Provide patient education and support for remote monitoring of cardiac devices Required qualifications International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification preferred; completion required within one year of hire Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) certification required prior to employment for those without IBHRE certification Strong knowledge of cardiac devices and experience with remote device transmissions from major manufacturers Proven ability to create comprehensive device transmission reports Experience in patient education and strong interpersonal skills
